Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Virginia Ruth Stringfield, 89, loving wife of the late Charles C. Stringfield, Jr.
Family members include her daughter: Yvonne Lott; brother: Tommy McBride (Ann), sisters: Vivian Thomas and Betty Jean Anderson; grandchild: Lindsey Oertel; great grandchildren: Mallory Oertel and Luke Oertel; stepson: Trey Lott (Lara); and caretakers: Kara Lee Coggins, Georgette Williams, and Pam Mills.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Maynard and Beulah McBride; and son: Keith Stringfield.
The graveside service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. David Richardson and Jason Lentz officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Beulah Baptist Church cemetery.
