Travis Lynn Arnett

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, Travis Lynn Arnett, age 36 and son of Lynn and Karen Arnett; sister: Lindsey A. Turner (Billy); nephew: Kyle Turner; grandmother: Audrey Hawn; cousin: Richard Bass; and his best friend: Mike Ewanis (Jessie). He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Earl Hawn; grandparents: Sammie and Edna Arnett; and uncles: Marshall and David Arnett; great-grandparents: Wallace “Moot” and Juanita Dorn.

Travis was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and a 2004 graduate of Lakeside High School where he was in ROTC and earned his Eagle Scout Badge. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on motorcycles and trucks as well as driving them. He loved to scuba dive with Neptune Dive & Ski and dove many beautiful places, including Belize, Bahamas and Cancun with his buddy, the late Danny Posey. He also baked cakes for a Piece of Cake Bakery since its inception.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at The Sanctuary Church with Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of the service at the church.
