Timothy Lawrence Fischer

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, September 20, 2026, Timothy Lawrence Fischer, 77. He was the son of the late Joseph E. Fischer and Kathryn Feist Fischer.

Tim was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and a retired teacher from the Richmond County Board of Education. After retirement, he worked in many capacities at his home parish. He loved genealogy and enjoyed camping, visiting national parks, and, most of all, being surrounded by people. He was truly a kid at heart and a favorite uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His playful spirit, genuine warmth, and love of family made him someone who brought joy to those around him.

Family members include his brother: Gerald Fischer (Janet); sisters: Beverly Adkins and Mary Ulmer (Rick). Tim is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Services will be private.
