Grovetown, GA – Stacey Hughes Strickland, loving wife of Rob Strickland, entered into rest on Friday, March 25, 2022, at age 52.

Stacey was a lifelong resident of Grovetown. She was a 7th grade teacher at Columbia Middle School and touched the lives of so many of her students over the last 27 years. Stacey loved her co-workers and never met a stranger. She will be so greatly missed.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include her daughter: Payton Dennis; stepsons: Zack Strickland and Will Strickland-Walters and his husband Chris Walters; parents: Harold and Ginny Hughes; paternal grandmother: Florrie Hughes; special aunt and uncle: Gary and Lynn Thigpen; special cousin and her husband: Ashley and Craig Godwin.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Kiokee Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Interment will follow at the Shucraft Cemetery in Appling, Ga.
