Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, September 24, 2026, Sam Dees III, 64, loving father, son, and brother.

Sam, loving father known as “Corky” to his family and friends, will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Sam’s passion was being a daddy to Autumn and Audrey and to those who didn’t have one. He stepped up to be a father figure to them. He was the most loving man with a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people feel loved. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing and enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family. Sam was blessed with a very large circle of friends who treasured his friendship, laughter, and kind heart. Above all, Sam was a loving person who touched many lives. His laughter, friendship, and memories will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Family members include his daughters: Autumn Ginn (Dylan) and Audrey Dees, mother: Jane Isaac (William); brother Eddie Dees (Dana); sister-in-law: Bell Dees; special nephew: Michael Dees; grandcat: Mayo; and other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his father; Sam Dees, Jr.; and brothers: Jimmy Dees, Tommy Dees, and Billy Isaac.
