Augusta, GA – Mr. Russell Woods, 78, entered into rest Friday, June 29, 2018.
Russell was born in Augusta and graduated from Evans High School. He was a member of White Oak United Pentecostal Church.
Family members include his daughter: Pamela Snodgrass (Jim); grandchildren: Ryan James Babcock (Kandace), James Michael Snodgrass and Taylor Linn Snodgrass; great grandchildren: Brayden Babcock and Aubrianna Babcock; sister: Sybil Kinback; special nephew: Chuck Woods (Jerry) and many other loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Gladys Woods; father: Raymond Woods and brothers: Ron Wood, Robert Woods and Charles Woods.
A memorial service, will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
