Evans, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 30, 2017, Mr. Bobby “Roy” LeRoy Davidson, 75, loving husband to the late Diane Davidson.

Mr. Davidson was a native of Thomson but lived in Evans for most of his life. He retired after 30 years from DuPont at SRS as a machinist, where he was a shop steward. He loved to travel and will be missed by all who knew him.

Family members include his son: Ronny Eugene Davidson (Angie); grandchildren: April Fyock, Joshua Davidson, Ronny Davidson, Tamara Kruse, and Bradley Coker; great grandsons: Jonathan McGee and Ethan McGee; sisters-in-law: Gloria Davidson and Eline Davidson; and brother: Fred Davidson (Faye). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his close friend Betty Williamson. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his sister: MaryAnn Reeves; and brothers: Frank, Jesse, and Bill Davidson.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Paul Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
