Robert Alan Sullivent

Augusta, GA – Robert Alan Sullivent, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was the devoted husband of the late Ginger Marie Wallen Sullivent, whom he continued to cherish throughout his life.

Robert was born in Nuremberg, Germany, to the late James Raymond Sullivent and Ramona Lee Moore Sullivent. He was a master plumber and, for many years, owned and operated Sullivent Inc., a plumbing contracting business, with his brother, Howard.

Following the untimely death of his beloved wife, Ginger, Robert raised their three-year-old daughter, Kelsey, as a single father. He remained a steadfast source of support throughout her life.

One of Robert’s longtime passions was dirt-track racing. For many years, racing was a major part of his life and something he shared with his brothers, nephews, and a close circle of friends. He also enjoyed NASCAR and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Lane Trapp; two grandchildren, Braden Van Trapp and Brooklyn Ginger Trapp; his nieces, Heather Buchanan and Nancy Burrell; his sister-in-law, Billie Jo Sullivent; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his beloved wife, Ginger, Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Howard Sullivent and John Sullivent.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907

A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Rev. Barry Clanton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church in memory of Robert and the Sullivent family.
