Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, January 1, 2018, Rhonda L. Burts, 38.
Rhonda was born in Greenville, SC and resided in Augusta. She graduated from Francis Marion University in 2002 obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications/Media Studies. Rhonda worked at Target in Evans and loved volunteering at local animal shelters. If the Atlanta Hawks or Clemson were playing she would be found cheering them on as one of their biggest fans.
Rhonda is survived by her fiancé: Jody Wilkes; and her dogs: Avery and Tallulah Belle. She was preceded in death by her mother: Silvia Dunham.
A memorial service will be Friday, January 5, 2018, 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Alan Morris officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kristen Bentley, Holly Drawdy, Cory King, Chad Lynch, Mary-Ann Morgan-Cochran, and Sparkle Williams.
In lieu of flowers the family requests monetary donations be made to the Augusta Humane Society, P.O. Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30913-2035.
