Peggy Rikard Dallis

Mrs. Peggy Rikard Dallis, 88, beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Dallis, entered into rest on September 8, 2026.

Mrs. Dallis was born in Leesville, South Carolina, and spent her career working as a nutrition specialist for the Richmond and Columbia County School Systems.

Peggy had an adventurous spirit and truly lived life to the fullest. She loved staying active and being outdoors, whether she was swimming, riding her bicycle, dancing, or spending time at the beach. She also had a creative side and enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramics. And those who knew her well knew she always had room for one of her favorite treats—ice cream.

Above all, Peggy treasured time spent with her family. Her adventurous nature, love of life, and the many memories she created with those she loved will be remembered by her family for years to come.

Mrs. Dallis is survived by her children, Cindy Beard, Sherri Herring (Joey), Chuck Dallis (Angela), and Carol Dallis (Ray); her grandchildren, Keith Beard (Kim), Amanda Herring, Lauren Herring, Kellie Bedenbaugh (Chris), Alicia Moon (Jason), Jeremy Cockrell, Amber Willerson (Jon), April Koon, and R.L. Swearingen (Tori); eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church – Grovetown Campus, 830 Louisville Road, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
