Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 10, 2018, Mrs. Margaret Buchanan Rickerson, 92, loving wife to the late Vernon G. Rickerson.
Mrs. Rickerson was a native of Greensboro, NC but has resided in Augusta since 1946. She worked as a Crossing Guard for 38 years on Walton Way and Langford.
Family members include her sons: Danny G. Rickerson and David V. Rickerson (Paula); grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn Rickerson Berry (Klent), Kimberly Rickerson, David Geoffrey Rickerson (Rachel), Dana O’Brien (Clint), and Chad Rickerson; great grandchildren: Nicole Williams, Lauren Williams, Grant Rickerson, and Ciara Rickerson; sisters: Sara Combs and Sylvia Miller (Ronnie); brother: Roy S. Buchanan; brother-in-law: Mitchell Godwin; and several nieces.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park.
