Malyah Jolynn Hayes, 16, passed away on September 23, 2026. Born on August 1, 2010, Malyah brought laughter, adventure and joy to the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.

Malyah was funny, goofy, energetic, and fearless. She was the kind of person who would try just about anything and rarely let fear stand in the way of a new adventure. She had a natural ability to make people laugh and could have a good time no matter where she was or who she was with. Her vibrant personality made her truly one of a kind. She loved singing and dancing, and her playful personality could light up a room.

Malyah was a natural-born athlete and enjoyed playing softball and wrestling and played soccer with the Bulls Rush Soccer Club. She brought determination, competitiveness, and a love of the game to everything she did.

When she wasn't playing sports, Malyah loved music, especially Billie Eilish and Bruno Mars. Her favorite color was green, and she enjoyed watching Bluey. She loved the beach and swimming at the lake—anywhere she could be outside, have fun, and make memories.

Above all, Malyah loved her family and shared an especially close bond with her sister, Alyssa. Their relationship was a beautiful and important part of her life, and she leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by those who loved her.

Malyah is survived by her parents, Bianca Williams and Derrick Hayes; her sister, Alyssa Williams; and her grandparents, Phyllis Cabrera, Gary Hayes, Deanna Williams, Robin Williams, his wife, Nui Williams and Denny Duffey.

She was a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, an athlete, a friend, a source of laughter, and a fearless young woman who brought an extraordinary energy to the world around her.

Her life was far too short, but the love she shared, the laughter she created, and the memories she left behind will remain. Malyah will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered for the vibrant, funny, fearless girl she was.
