Louis Franklin Parker

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, Louis Franklin Parker, 76, loving husband of 55 years to Linda Parker.

Louis was a member of the Baptist faith. He retired after 44 years of hard work and dedication in HVAC industry.

In addition to his wife, family members include his children: Jerry Parker (Lee), Wendy Dalber, Kelly Lewis (Johnny); adopted daughters: Tara Crabb and Savannah Yates; grandchildren: Dylan Parker, Jordan Parker (Kassandra), Barret Dalber (Tori), Ryan Dalber (Brooklyn), Kayla Mims (Caleb), and Emmy Underwood; and great-grandchildren: Jaxon Mims and Saylor Mims.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Watson Parker and Oillie Atkinson Parker, and grandson Bailey Dalber.

Pallbearers will be Barret Dalber, Ryan Dalber, Jamil Padilla, Cristian Marin, Jaron Iles, and Wesley Underwood.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Sons Funeral Directors with Pastor Tracy Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah UMC Cemetery in Matthews, GA.
