Lillian "Lil" Bailey

Evans, GA – Lillian “Lil” Frances Bailey, 69, entered into rest Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Lil was a native of Sardis, GA and has lived in Evans for several years. She was a Pharmacist and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. Lil was an avid UGA Bulldog Football fan, and loved spotting a full moon, vacationing to nearby beaches, and her Yorkie named Mo.

Family members include her children: John Duncan Fordham of Augusta, Joseph Bailey Fordham (Emily) of Las Cruces, NM, and Frances Morgan Fordham of North Augusta, SC; sisters: Nikki Bailey of Fort Myers, FL and Pam Cox (William) of Girard, GA; and granddaughters: Hannah Jayde Fordham of Augusta and Harleigh Newsome. She is preceded in death by her parents, L. Kenneth Bailey and Maudine Griffin Bailey of Sardis, GA.

A memorial service will be held March 18, 2023 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, prior to the service.
