Kenneth Matthew Faile-Hood

Appling, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Kenneth Matthew Faile-Hood, 13, loving son of Mary Faile-Hood and brother to Rebecca Faile-Hood.

Kenneth was a sweet, smart, curious, and adventurous young man who brought laughter and love to those around him. An eighth-grade student at Harlem Middle School, Kenneth was funny, creative, mischievous, and wonderfully headstrong. He questioned everything, thought deeply, and always had a mind of his own. He loved cats, candy, and all the little things that made life sweet. Kenneth’s unique spirit and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by his family, friends, classmates, and all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother and sister, family members include his aunts and uncles: Theresa Shelton (Chris), Neal Faile (Brandy), Anne Wilson (Chris), and Katie Thomas (Raleigh); great-aunts: Ursula Barton and Mary Alice Brown; and cousins: Bailey Davis (Anthony Martinez) and Gabby Davis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Alan Hood.
