Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 5, 2019, Jean Bennett Raburn, 86, wife of Robert Lee Raburn.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, Jean is survived by her daughters: Kathie M. Davis, Patti M. Dix-Wimpy (David), and Paula M. Gay (James); grandchildren: Richard Dix (Bethany), Trey Dix, James Gay Jr. (Rebecca), Robert Gay (Jessie), Brittany D. Simpson (Max); great grandchildren: Aden, Cadence, and Blakeney Dix, Waylon and Logan Gay, Hope, Gabriel, Grace, and Faith Simpson; sister-in-law: Gloria M. Kahrs. Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Tracy Moore.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Dr. William F. Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
