Augusta, Ga – Entered into rest on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her residence, Janet Becsi Golden, loving wife of 32 years to Robert Jackson “Robbie” Golden, Jr.; daughter, Julianna Golden Shurtleff (Jon); brother: John Carlisle Becsi (Margaret); nephew: Joel, nieces: Tess and Boone. She is the daughter of the late John and Julia Carlisle Becsi.
Janet is a native and life resident of Augusta. She attended Richmond Academy, University of Georgia, and earned her graduate degree from the Medical College of GA.

While in school, she worked a number of years for her Dad at Hill Drug. She worked as a Medical Lab Technician at MCG and taught at Augusta Technical College for 14 years.
A celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
