JaiFeng Yao

JiaFeng Yao, age 91, peacefully passed away on July 6th 2026 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, surrounded by her family.

Born in China, Ms. Yao has been a nurse for many years and a loving wife to her belated husband Mr. Zhong Yang for 65 years until he passed away in 2017.

Ms. Yao loves arts and crafts, she enjoys raising chickens and ducks.

She is survived by her loving daughter Jan She, and her three grandchildren, Edward, Amanda, and Matthew She.

Donations to be made in Ms. Yao’s memory to the Columbia County Senior Center, 5913 Euchee Creek Dr, Grovetown, GA 30813.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Mr. Paul. Lin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
