Jacob Lee Morris

Augusta, GA – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Lee Morris who entered eternal rest at 28 years old.

Jacob was born December 5, 1997, and grew up on Farmers Bridge Road in Hephzibah, GA. Jacob will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. Be it through his laughter, generosity, or his quiet strength he made a lasting impact on his family and friends. Though his time with us was far too short the memories he created and love he shared will remain in our hearts forever.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Albert & Margaret Perry.

He leaves behind a loving wife Hailee Morris; a beautiful daughter Charlie; and his parents Joseph Morris & Valeda Perry; his siblings Jason Morris (Alayna), Joni Morris, Nicolas Moore, Isabella Moore, and Chloe Moore; his niece and nephews Kaliyah, Levi, Briar & Kaiden; & many cousins.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 3:00 at the Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Pastor David Brooks officiating.
