Beech Island, SC – Entered into rest Monday, July 17, 2017, Jaclyn “Jackie” Walker Burroughs, 38, loving wife of Rodney Burroughs.

Mrs. Burroughs was a native and lifelong resident of Beech Island, SC. She was a graduate of Silver Bluff High School. Mrs. Burroughs was a Teacher’s Assistant at JET Middle School in Edgefield. She was a fun loving mother and teacher, her children were her life.

Family members in addition to her husband include her children: Jordan Tupper Stapleton, Weslee Forrest Stapleton, Brittany Burroughs, Ben Burroughs, Bailey Burroughs, Bryson Burroughs; sister: Kippy Kelly (Greg); father: Tupper Walker (Jan); mother: Lynn Cary (Bob); step-brothers: Hunter Cary (Heather), Matt Cary (Amber), Chris Cary; niece: Banks Kelly; nephew: Walker Kelly; grandfather: Ed Fox (Mary); aunts: Cheryl, Angie, Marty and Ken.

Memorial service will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Frank Hyder, officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place in Hammond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that friends consider becoming an organ donor.
