Heather Simon Lanier, 57, entered into rest on August 19, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Heather was born in Augusta and was confirmed at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She will be remembered as a “force of nature” to those who knew her. Heather had a strong belief in God and a great sense of humor. Her recovery was very important to her.

Heather is survived by her father, Dallas Simon, Jr. (Patricia); her children, Amber McCray and Taylor Zange (Evan); her siblings, Kelli Neal, Dallas C. Simon, III (Teresa) and Doug Simon (Brooke); and by her grandchildren, Grayson King, David McCray and Elliana McCray.
