Augusta, GA – Harry Joseph Shearer Jr., entered into rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 92 years of age, loving husband of Hildred Shearer.
Mr. Shearer was born and raised in Augusta and retired from Duke/Richards Buick as Parts Department Manager.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include sons: Russell F. Shearer Sr. (Mary), Vance W. Shearer; grandchildren: Russell Shearer Jr., Stacey Plooster (Tyler); great-grandchildren: Skyler and Shelby Plooster. Mr. Shearer is preceded in death by sons: Harry J. Shearer III, David V. Shearer; and his first wife: Adele Farr Shearer.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
