Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, June 21, 2026, Mr. Harold Edward “Ed” Hatfield, 81, loving husband of Tracy Hatfield.

Ed was a native of Sumter, SC and graduated from Warner Robins High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy and retired as a field technician for Pollock Office Solutions. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Ed was a devoted member of the Alleluia Community and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ed would want you to know “Jesus loves you!”.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Eugene Andrew Hatfield and wife Janet, Amy Lynn Hatfield Wilson and husband Tyrone, Joshua Michael Hatfield, and Johanna Marie Hatfield Funsch and husband Robert; grandchildren: Kevin Hatfield, Ania Hatfield Austin and husband Taylor, Philip Hatfield, Lucia Gracemarie Hatfield, Allison Jane (Nick) Hatfield, Charles Friedrick Hatfield, Anthony Torres, Olivia Louise Funsch, Sadie Aileen Funsch, Ellen Joan Funsch, Ann Marie Funsch, and Robert Edwin Funsch III; great grandchildren: Amadeo Alexzander Austin, Attalus James Austin, and Fidelis Charimarin Austin; siblings: Eugene “Pete” Allen Hatfield and James Duncan Hatfield; and daughter-in-law: Brenda Hatfield. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Sadie Hatfield.

The funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Chris Hassel celebrant. Interment will follow in the Alleluia Community Cemetery.
