Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, June 30, 2026, Maria Evelyn Wagner, 73, beloved wife of the late Paul Wagner.

Evelyn will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, loving heart, and joyful spirit. A devoted big sister, she cherished her family and always brought laughter to those around her. She loved music, dancing, and spending time with the people she loved most. Above all, Evelyn was a devoted mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Family members include her daughters: Paula Gay (Whit) and Patricia Wells Fry (Daniel); grandchildren: Thomas Paul, Brandy, Hunter (Ashley), Caitlin, Cody, Kyle; siblings: Gabriele Kelly, Patricia Adams (Jeff), Thomas Kelly, Dinana Hawes (Al) and Timothy Kelly; And other loving family members.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Kelly.

Services will be private.
