Augusta, GA – Mrs. Elisabeth H. Reems, 89, our wonderful, loving mother and dedicated homemaker entered into rest Monday, January 21, 2019.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, she worked and loved her job as a unit clerk at University Hospital for 16 years and was a life member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
Family members include her children: Diana Duckworth (Ivan), Alan Reems, Bruce Reems, and Stephen Reems (Laura); grandchildren: Brice and Haley Duckworth, Tyler, Jordan, and Shiloh Reems. She is preceded in death by her parents: Wilhelm and Elisabeth Ohlheiser; brother: Werner Ohlheiser; and sister: Ruth Ernst.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Michael Freed officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ascension Lutheran Church, 2860 Wells Dr., Augusta, GA 30906.
