Dr. James Andrew Davidson

James Andrew Davidson passed away on August 6, 2026. A native of Thomson, Georgia, Dr. Davidson practiced family dentistry for 30 years in Augusta. He was a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and the University of Georgia, and he was a lifelong Bulldog fan.

Jim was an avid and accomplished golfer, but his most recent passion was music, especially with his great friend and band partner, David Morris. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Katie Stewart, grandchildren Anna Claire Stewart and Andrew Stewart, and sisters Joy Reeves and Judith Cotton.
