David Allen Stafford

Trenton, SC - Mr. David Allen Stafford went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, August 17, 2026. David was a loving husband to Kim Livingston Stafford, loving father of 5, and adoring Paw and “D” to 35 grandchildren.

David was the son of William and Catherine Stafford and was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a graduate of Hanahan High School and Francis Marion College, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Track. He retired after 32 years with FedEx Inc. After he left FedEx, he worked at Boeing in Charleston until 2023, when he retired and moved to the Augusta area. After retirement, he went to work with his step-son at MBM Lawn Care.

David loved anything outside - going to the beach, the lake and the mountains. He loved cars- especially Mustangs and NASCAR. He enjoyed working in his yard and took such pride in all he did.

David’s biggest joy was his family and spending time with them. His five children: Dustin Stafford (Jessica) and children Maddi and Coltyn; Brad Stafford (Jessica) and children Jackson, Hayden and Easton; Brian Stafford (Haley) and children Bailey, Weston, Brinleigh and Hazleigh: Jennifer Floyd (Jamie) and children Addy, Emma, Kinley and Junior; and Kaylin Stafford and children Emersyn, Owen, and Sienna. He also loved his “bonus” children and their children as well.

His brothers and sisters are Memerley McElhaney, Mark Stafford, Joseph Stafford, Greg Stafford and Malinda Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Restoration Community Church on Saturday August 22, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the church.
