CJ Herrin

Grovetown, GA – Christopher “CJ” Herrin, 26, entered into rest Saturday, October 22, 2022.

CJ was a native of Augusta but has lived in Grovetown for several years. He attended Grovetown High School and was a graduate of the Youth Challenge Academy at Fort Gordon.

Family members include his father: Christopher Shane Herrin, Sr.; mother: Jennifer Herrin; mother: Sandi Halcame (Chris); siblings: Averi, Cassidy, Rain, and Trenton; uncles: Maurice Rogers, William Borella, Charles Johnson, and Tony Halcame (Renee); aunts: April Diaz (Tony) and Lisa Johnson; grandmother: Nora Smith; grandfather: Charles Johnson; and cousins: Conner, Grant, Sophia, Ezra and Lukas. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marsha Lewis, and grandmother Judy Johnson, uncle, Patrick Rogers.

CJ was an avid gamer, with a large network of friends, whom he would spend hours gaming with. He was a loyal, dedicated, hard worker who absolutely loved his job at McDonalds. CJ was known by many throughout the community as a kind, caring and loving individual. He always had a wide smile and a friendly wave for everyone he saw. He touched the hearts of many.

CJ will be remembered most for the kindness in his heart. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to all. Sleep well gentle giant.
