Christopher Ware Bowman

Christopher Ware Bowman was born on September 12, 2018. He was born into a family and fellowship who have loved him immeasurably. His parents, Vance and Nan, named him after a person who played a special role in his life, serves others faithfully with a spirit of hope, and shows care and love to those around her. His paternal grandparents are Vance and Janie Bowman. His maternal grandfather is George Williams. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Deborah Williams.

Christopher left his earthly home and entered into his forever home on Friday, September 28, 2018, in an atmosphere filled with hymns, scripture, prayer, family, and friends. His short life will always be a gift to us. May God be glorified through Christopher’s journey and life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in The Rotunda at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Will Dyer and Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating. https://fbcaugusta.org

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christopher’s “heart buddy” Summer Jane Rawlings. As a family, Christopher, Vance, and Nan would pray together for his heart buddy and the Rawlings family each day. Summer Jane has been in the PICCU at MUSC for several weeks along with her family.
