Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, September 15, 2023, Mr. Brian Scott Manecke, 46, husband of Jennifer Hendrix Manecke.

Brian was born in Augusta, Georgia and was a graduate of Evans High School. Like his father and grandfather, he chose a career in law enforcement, working for 14 years for the Richmond County Sheriff's Department, most recently as an investigator. Brian’s favorite pastime was disc golf.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his mother: Joyce Manecke; father: Bill Manecke; sister: Amanda Humphrey and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Deacon Daniel J. Craig officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
