Augusta, GA – Betty Jo Harris, 89, entered into rest October 18, 2020. She is survived by her son, Gerold Harris and his wife Pat, and their family. She worked as a Deli Manager at Piggly Wiggly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Dr., Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mark Maund officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M., at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
