Augusta, GA – Mrs. Bernice Evelyn Lybrand, 92, entered into rest Sunday, November 4, 2018.
Mrs. Lybrand was born in Aiken, SC but lived most of her life in Augusta, GA. She was a weaver in the Sibley Mill for 42 years. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
Family members include her children: Sandra Lybrand Griffin, Sylvia Lybrand Gunter, Jimmie Lybrand, and Kathy Lybrand Keip; grandchildren: Amy Griffin Drew, Jacqueline Griffin, Dewey “Scott” Gunter, Tonia Gunter Thompson, Patrick Brian Logan, Jason Hunter Keip, Nathan Thomas Keip, and Patrick Shaun Keip; and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother: Ruby Plunkett Scott; father: Dewey Hunter Scott; and brother: Dewey “Bubba” Hunter Scott, Jr.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
