Evans, GA - Audrey Lavin, 72, beloved wife of J. Thomas (Tom) Lavin, slipped the earthly bonds early morning on August 25, 2018.
Audrey touched many lives during her 20 plus years working in and after retiring from the Columbia County School System. She also enjoyed interior decorating, cooking and crocheting—especially caps and blankets for premature newborns at local hospitals.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three brothers, one sister, her five children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
A memorial Mass will be Monday, August 27, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Vernon Knight celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., in the Narthex of the church.
