Anthony Charles "Tony" Capaz

Anthony Charles “Tony” Capaz, 67, beloved husband of Diane Dees Capaz, entered into rest on September 20, 2026.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, September 24, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors.

Tony will be remembered as a hard working man that had a passion for stage work. In his spare time he loved hunting, fishing, and watching the Braves and Georgia football. Tony had a special place in his heart for his pet cats and loved spending time with them.

In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by his daughter, Katie Capaz (Robert Coleman); his niece, Brandy Gresham; and his cousin, Mike McGahee.
